Dustin Mynatt has been at Gibbs High School in Corryton, Tenn. since 2016. For more than 14 years he served as a mathematics, history, and government teacher over the course of his tenure in Knox County. In 2022, he was hired as Athletic Director for the school. Previously, he served as an assistant coach in football, assistant boys track, assistant basketball coach for boys and girls, head freshman boys basketball coach, assistant varsity baseball coach, and head JV baseball coach. In addition to his coaching experience, Dustin has sports information director experience as well. He served in the Sports Information office at the University of Tennessee from July 2003 until December 2006, serving as the primary communication contact for Swimming and Diving for two years. 

Dustin Mynatt holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University and a Bachelors degree in History from The University of Tennessee. In 2021, Dustin was chosen as a Teacher of the Year recipient by his peers. He is a member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as well as a current board member of the Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (TIAAA).
